Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. The Camas County reference site does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.

It publishes general directions to records held by the Camas County Sheriff, Camas County courts, Idaho State Police BCI, and the Idaho Central Sex Offender Registry. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. A query entered there is governed by that provider's privacy policy, retention period, and sharing rules, not by this policy. Review those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Camas County Sheriff, Idaho courts, state agencies, legal resources, or outside tools. Once a reader follows one, the destination's privacy policy controls the visit. Check that policy before providing personal data.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
